Wind and solar monitoring is performed to assess the potential of wind resources and solar radiation at the selected site.

The purpose of wind monitoring is to determine the expected electricity generation and investment attractiveness of the project in the region. For measurements, measuring systems are installed — wind measuring masts (VIM) or alternative measuring complexes (LIDAR). The type and configuration of the equipment are determined by the purpose of the study and the parameters of the planned wind farm.

Solar monitoring is carried out using ground-based solar radiation measurement systems, which are necessary for evaluating the effectiveness of solar power plants.

Measurements are carried out continuously for 12 months (up to 18 months if necessary) to obtain representative statistics.

At the end of the measurement campaign, the data is processed and verified, after which a Bankable Report is generated.
